Kino's Coffee is a small coffee shop based in Chicago dedicated to serving exceptional coffee and delicious treats in a friendly, inviting atmosphere. Customers love their coffee and high-quality products but what truly sets them apart is their warm and welcoming culture. They needed a brand refresh and new packaging designs for their coffee packages.
The identity for Kino's Coffee is influenced by the unique character of the brand, as well as the warm and welcoming environment of the cafe. Centered around the concept 'Brew Your Happiness' and the keywords 'warm, authentic, connected,' the design features a simple, playful, and vibrant style. The illustrations and color palette capture the observer's attention while exuding a feeling of comfort and happiness.
The gift cards, t-shirts and stickers feature coffee mugs and select products from their stores, adding a playful yet nostalgic touch that invokes a sense of warmth and familiarity. Each coffee package features a unique illustration, each telling its own story inspired by the distinct names of the flavors.
